The Problem

Your Training Should Account for Everything Else You Do

A good program cannot exist in isolation. Your sport schedule, training history, equipment, recovery, travel, readiness, and long-term development all affect what you should do next.

You do not need more exercises. You need a connected plan and the appropriate level of coaching around it

Remote coaching is designed for people who are tired of:

✓ Random workouts without a clear progression

✓ Generic programs that ignore schedule and history

✓ Gym work competing with practice and recovery

✓ Guessing when to progress, reduce, or change

✓ Feeling cleared but not ready for performance

✓ Training without knowing if it is working

Built for Those Who Need More Than a Template

Remote coaching is a strong fit if you:

➤ Have access to a gym or appropriate training environment

➤ Need a program built around your goals, sport, schedule, and equipment

➤ Can train independently but want professional structure and oversight

➤ Need your strength work coordinated with practice, throwing, travel, or competition

➤ Want better accountability, progression, and decision-making

➤ Are medically appropriate for training and ready to follow the plan consistently

Remote coaching can support competitive athletes, developing athletes, active adults, and high performers. The required tier depends on the frequency and complexity of the coaching decisions.

One Connected Performance System

1. Understand the complete situation

Your goals, training history, current capacity, schedule, equipment, sport demands, and relevant restrictions shape the starting point.

2. Build the individualized plan

Trevor creates a structured program with clear progressions rather than handing you a collection of disconnected workouts.

3. Execute with clarity

Training is delivered through Exercise.com with exercise instructions, progress tracking, and a clear weekly plan.

4. Review what is actually happening

Check-ins, readiness information, training results, videos, and schedule changes provide the context needed to make better decisions.

5. Adapt when the evidence justifies it

The plan evolves according to your coaching tier, progress, readiness, workload, and changing demands. Change is made for a reason—not simply to make the program look different.

PROOF AND OUTCOMES

Elite Performance and Long-Term Development

Charles Cross

NFL | Offensive Tackle

Seattle Seahawks

Super Bowl Champion, former first-round draft pick, and starting left tackle for the Seattle Seahawks.

Through three off-seasons of private training, our work built the strength, power, and positional force production needed for his role.

We used measured workload progressions to drive performance forward, while integrating strength-based mobility and movement variety to support durability over the course of a long NFL season.

Baseball Performance, Mobility, and Durability

Theo Gillen
MLB | Position Player

Tampa Bay Rays - 2024 18th Overall Pick

2024 18th overall Draft pick, shortstop, and outfielder whose private training began during his return-to-play process before transitioning into the MLB.

Our work rebuilt tissue capacity, improved elasticity, and developed full-body strength and power.

Training emphasized detailed progressions, strength at length, movement efficiency, and resilient force production to support throwing velocity, speed, and long-term durability.

"I immediately noticed the impact of running faster, throwing harder, and being more prepared for games."

From Rehabilitation to Performance

Andrew Nelson
Competitive MMA | Fighter

Competitive MMA fighter whose training began eight weeks post-op following a full circumferential shoulder labrum repair involving ten anchors.

Our work restored shoulder mobility and load-bearing capacity, rebuilt movement mechanics and force production, and progressed him back toward high-output training demands.

He continues to train with me through fight camps, with an emphasis on durability, strength, and sport-specific conditioning.

"I could not have done this without my main man Trevor. I moved to Texas a few months after I got 10 anchors in my right shoulder for a fully torn labrum.

Not only did he help me get mobility back, his knowledge & care allowed me to get back to what I love doing.

I am so grateful for the countless hours he invested into making me the best athlete I can possibly be."

ABOUT THE COACH

Coaching Led by Trevor Merritt

Trevor Merritt, MS, ATC, LAT, CSCS, brings more than a decade of experience across performance training, athletic development, and the rehabilitation-to-performance continuum.

His background includes professional and Division I football environments as well as private coaching with professional, collegiate, and developing athletes.

Remote clients are not handed off to a generic programming system. Trevor is responsible for the assessment, program design, review, and coaching decisions included in the selected tier.

Remote Coaching Is Not the Right Service for Everyone

Remote coaching is not:

➤ Emergency or acute medical care

➤ A replacement for necessary physician or physical-therapy management

➤ Individual injury rehabilitation unless an appropriate scope is established

➤ Unlimited daily messaging or immediate on-demand access

➤ A generic downloadable program

➤ Appropriate for someone unwilling to train consistently and log the work

If another service or medical evaluation is more appropriate, Trevor will say so rather than forcing a poor-fit sale.
